5 designers Montréalais se livreront a un exercice de création et de style pour réaliser une oeuvre de haute couture en hommage à Alexander McQueen, génie créatif disparu trop tôt.

L’événement est en partenariat avec le LAB Créatif et Montreal State Of Mind pour la diffusion.

Notre boutique en ligne Montreal Designers mettra ensuite en vente les oeuvres réalisées lors de la soirée , dont les profits irons directement a la fondation. L’événement promet bien entendu d’être un énorme succès, nous somme très fier de nous y associé. On espère vous y voir en grand nombre.

Il existe désormais une Charte québécoise pour une image corporelle saine et diversifiée. 

Cette Charte a été rédigée par des grands noms du domaine de la mode (Christian Chenail – MUSE, Mariouche Gagné – Harricana, Jean F. Daviau – Sensation Mode, Ben Barry – agence de mannequin, etc.), de la publicité, de la télévision, des médias et de la beauté en automne 2009. 

Depuis quelques semaines, la Charte est mise en ligne afin que la population puisse la signer et s’exprimer. Le Québec se positionne enfin contre les images de maigreur extrême véhiculées dans l’industrie, tout comme l’ont fait aussi la France, l’Espagne, l’Italie, le Brésil et l’Argentine.

Fashion Week is proud to turn the spotlight on Canada’s fashion capital and the creativity of the designers who call it home, positioning the city as a major contributor and host to the fashion world. Building on the unprecedented success of MFW 17, this 18th edition promises to be more exhilarating than ever. Based on the many foreign partnerships developed with Paris, Berlin, Milan and Tokyo, now more than ever we can consider Montreal the fashion capital. 

LE SHOWROOM: March 2nd and 3rd Le Showroom is proving unstoppable! Made possible once again by the ministère du Développement économique, de l’Innovation et de l’Exportation du Québec (MDEIE — Department of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade), Le Showroom continues to wow fashion industry professionals with its unique and dynamic environment. This fifth edition will once again feature sixty leading national and international designers playing host to buyers from around the world as they come together to network and conduct one-on-one business throughout the two days of Le Showroom.
